As we prepare to welcome our bears into their new home in Carey Bear Country we want to ensure they have items they need to make their new habitat a comfortable
and enriching home.

DEN WARMING PARTY
This spring, we will welcome our bears into their new home in Carey Bear Country. This is the largest renovation project the Zoo has seen in over 10 years. This new exhibit will include:
• A third habitat to expand space for bears and aid in the Zoo’s breeding program
• A Zoo360 exploration trail that will allow the bears to rotate through all habitats
• An additional off-exhibit habitat to aid in the rearing of cubs
• New water features and landscaping
• Glass viewing areas to allow guests to come nose-to-nose with the bears and observe training
• Improved structural designs for the Zoo’s animal keepers to facilitate efficient care
Your Giving ZOOday gift will help us outfit the new habitat with items the bears need to thrive: enrichment toys, bedding, climbing structures and training aids. All of these items will help make the new habitat one of the best in the world to care for endangered bears.
