Celebrate Cecily Tynan's nearly 25 years of Philadelphia Zoo broadcasts
6abc’s Chief Meteorologist, Cecily Tynan, is a life-long animal lover and has been a staunch Philadelphia Zoo advocate for decades.
Today only, we are raising $25,000 to honor Cecily and celebrate her final broadcast from America's first zoo after nearly 25 years.
In May 2026, Cecily helped Philadelphia Zoo launch the Remember the Future campaign. Your gift will support this effort and will be directed to the Zoo's animal care program, providing nutrition, veterinary care, and enrichment to our nearly 1,900 animals.
The first 50 people to donate $100 or more will receive a zoo branded umbrella.
